We are proud to announce the first Antiques Appraisal Fair/Flea Market & Craft Show for The United Way of Marion County, WV. GATE Multimedia is happy to organize and coordinate the event, which will be held on April 26, 2003, at the Middletown Mall in Fairmont, WV. 

The public is invited to bring their antiques and collectibles in for appraisal for $3 each with a maximum of six items per individual. All appraisals will be verbal and non-binding. 

Special items chosen throughout the day will be featured in the evening's Appraisal Show.  A donation of $20 will grant admission to the show and the catered reception that follows.  The following restaurants have very graciously decided to donate their wares for A Taste of Fairmont: Backwoods Grill, Creative Gourmet, Holiday Inn Banquet/Catering, Michael's Catering, Poky Dot, Village Bistro at Westchester Village.  The Bean Stock will be serving freshly brewed coffee.

…a Morgantown native, with a history in researching Morgantown Glass since 1991.  He is currently serving as the VP of the Old Morgantown Glass Collectors’ Guild www.oldmorgantown.org

…a Fairmont native who has been collecting for 27 years and dealing for 19 years. He is part owner in S&M Glass, a family-owned Fairmont business.

 

JoAnn Nicholson            textiles, quilts, primitives, baskets & wooden-ware

…born in Fairmont, has lived in Morgantown area for 25-30 years, and has been collecting since childhood.  Has been a dealer for over 20 years and is involved in the Antique Junction in Cannonsburg, PA for 11 years.

…born and raised in Barrackville, WV, and is the owner of Watson Coins & Collectibles on Adams St, Fairmont. Is a member of the Stonewall Jackson Coin Club in Clarksburg, and the American Numismatic Association
